Bodensågen AB is a modern company with a long history. The sawmill area has been engaged in wood processing since the 1950s. Since 2004, when the saw line was sold, we have specialized in planing and pressure impregnation.
We produce decking and joists that we sell under our own name, primarily in the Nordic market. We also carry out subcontracting assignments in the following areas:
We have extensive experience in contract planing and undertake assignments in everything from decking and joists to panels. The planer, a Waco Gigant, can handle timber up to 250 mm wide and 100 mm thick. We have a flexible system for bedding, strapping and packaging, which means we can meet customers' special requests in these areas.
We are certified according to NTR's regulations for impregnation with the agent Wolmanit CX-8 WB, which is a modern impregnation agent free of boric acid. We dry all impregnated wood in a special fixation dryer, which ensures that the wood is completely fixed upon delivery. This reduces the risk of mold during long-term storage and contributes to a more environmentally friendly and healthier handling of the wood for customers. We can impregnate wood classes A and AB and brown impregnate class AB.
